Lakers News: Former LA Forward Claims LeBron James Downplays Actual Height, Weight

It makes a lot of sense!
In this story:

When one watches LeBron James move down the basketball court, it's very clear that few other players that possess his size and strength are able to move at the speeds he does. Thinking about his athletic prime, his days with the Miami Heat immediately come to mind because of how we was able to match his skill with his physical tools. His highlights still pop up on the timeline to this day and he's aged quite well during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers despite a number of injuries taking place that kept him out.

Something that has always made James difficult to guard is that once he put on more muscle, he was able to get to the rim at will and not just rely on his vertical advantages. James has reportedly invested millions of dollars in his body each year to make sure that he can compete with the best of the stars while not falling ill to injury all the time.

The King is currently listed at 250 pounds and for a 6'10 forward, that is very solid. He's been reported to maintain a super low body fat percentage and as I mentioned, he knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to keeping to a strict diet and doing the right workouts.

However, a former Lakers wing in Stanley Johnson recently hopped on the 'Tacobout It' podcast and shared his own conspiracy theory that James hasn't been too honest about his weight. He believes that The King is actually 300 pounds and weighs the same as New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson.

"I believe that him and Zion have weighed the same size at some point in time," said Johnson. "I think that they made the clause in Zion's contract off of LeBron. And I know Zion seems like that guy is massive but LeBron's massive, he's just as big."

This is a very interesting take considering that Johnson is someone that has matched up against both of these guys... maybe we'll get an updated weight from James this season!
