Orlando Magic Has 'Been a Blessing to Me', Says PG Markelle Fultz

The Orlando Magic has had a number of its players have struggles with injuries, but the team has stuck with them through all of it.

The Orlando Magic is currently in a tight race for one of the top five seeds in the Eastern Conference, and that has surprised a lot of people.

One of the reasons that the team has this position is because it has stuck together thorugh everything, whether that is free agency rumors or injuries. Point guard Markelle Fultz knows a thing or two about dealing with injuries, and he talked about the Magic's willingness to stick with in his postgame interview after the team's win against the Chicago Bulls.

"With everything I've been through, being able to get traded here to a great organization who was patient with me... they've been a blessing to me," Fultz said. "Even my injuries here they always been supportive, wrapped their arms around me, and always believed in me... I just try to go out there and play with joy, because I know what its like to have the game taken away from you when you have no control over it."

Not only did Fultz begin his career struggling with injuries, but he has had a run-in with the injury bug this season. He missed a large portion of this season with a knee injury, but has come back just in time to help the Magic with its playoff run.

The team is currently tied with the New York Knicks for the three-seed in the East, and is just one game back from the two-seed Milwaukee Bucks. The Magic will play against the Bucks in two of the final four games of the season, which could end up having major playoff implications.

Fultz and the rest of the Magic will be back in action on the road against Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET from the Toyota Center.
