The Magic Insider lists five of the biggest NBA storylines in addition to relevant Orlando Magic news and analysis.

In this story:

1. MAGIC ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFFS

"Even though the odds were incredibly long from the beginning of the season, the Magic was not officially eliminated from play-in contention until Tuesday after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers at home."

2. DONOVAN TOO DOMINANT

"Led by 43 points from Donovan Mitchell, the Magic never had an answer for him throughout the night.

"The win gives the Cavaliers their 50th victory of the season, proving that they are one of the best teams in the NBA. While the Magic don't accept any moral victories at this point in the season, Orlando can appreciate the fact that it is competing step-by-step with the league's best."

3. MARKELLE CATAFULTZ

"Just the opportunity he had here, a great opportunity to get over his health issues," Detroit Pistons head coach Dwane Casey said. "Six years, it just seemed like yesterday he was coming out of college. Age and maturity is a huge factor for him. But he's a difference from their team. And you know, he's given them an opportunity to catapult to where they are."

4. WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S GAMES

5. NEXT MAGIC GAME

The Magic will return to action tomorrow night with a rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the final home game of the year. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. You can watch in-market on Bally Sports Florida or out-of-market on NBA League Pass.
