4. DOC RIVERS FIRED
The Philadelphia 76ers are making a change at the head coaching position.
According to ESPN, the 76ers are firing Doc Rivers after three seasons at the helm.
Rivers made the Conference Semifinals in each of his three seasons in Philadelphia, but failed to lead the team past that point. Now, the Sixers join the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns as teams with a head coaching vacancy.
5. HEAT VS. CELTICS GAME 1
Jayson Tatum, fresh off his historic Game 7 performance, leads the Boston Celtics into battle against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. It's their third Eastern Conference Finals meeting in four years.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT.
