Magic Starting 5: Power Rankings Rise for Orlando?

1. MAGIC POWER RANKINGS "This slight move up the rankings may have as much to do with drops from others as it does with the Orlando Magic," Bleacher Report writes. "Their most significant free-agency moves were the signing of Joe Ingles, who turns 36 in October and tore his ACL during the 2021-22 campaign, and waiving of Bol Bol."

2. HOWARD'S ROOKIE ROLE "Howard will play a spot-up-heavy role, providing off-ball scoring with his standstill and movement shooting," Bleacher Report writes. "He just might not have many chances to create with Orlando's handful of guards and the offense running through Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner."

3. TWO-WAY FOR TYGER? “USA Today named Campbell among the "honorable mentions" for those who deserve a two-way contract after Summer League."

4. CARUSO TO MAVS? "In a hypothetical trade proposal from Bleacher Report, the Mavs would acquire Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Jaden Hardy, JaVale McGee, and a 2025 second-round pick."

5. FOURNIER WANTS KNICKS TRADE "You want to spit on everyone. You have hatred," Fournier said. "Derrick Rose and I looked at each other and said to each other: 'What the hell are we doing here?' During the five-on-five practice, we were on the side like some prospects. Uncool times."
