ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic will be without one of its key players off the bench against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jalen Suggs, who left Thursday night's game with an injury, is out against the Clippers with a concussion.

Suggs, 21, scored just five points in Thursday's loss against the Phoenix Suns after three straight games scoring in double digits.

Suggs is no stranger to the sideline after missing 25 games already this season. He also missed 24 games during his rookie year with a bevy of injuries.

As someone who plays in the second unit, Suggs' numbers are slightly down from his rookie season, where he started all but three games he's played. But with Markelle Fultz running the point guard position, Suggs has found a home in the second unit.

While his offensive numbers are down, Suggs has made a significant stride on the defensive side of the ball.

With Suggs out of the lineup, it's likely that Admiral Schofield or rookie Caleb Houstan could see some action. The team also plays Sunday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, but Suggs' status has not been confirmed for the second half of the back-to-back and final game of the Magic's four-game road trip.
