Magic Starting 5: 2 Orlando Players That Shouldn't Be Traded

The Magic Insider lists five of the biggest NBA storylines in addition to relevant Orlando Magic news and analysis.

In this story:

1. WHO SHOULD STAY WITH MAGIC?

"Theoretically, that could complicate things on the untouchable front, since Orlando might feel it has more off-limits players than this pair," Bleacher Report writes. "Wendell Carter Jr. and Markelle Fultz could make compelling cases for the label. So could Bol Bol and Gary Harris, for that matter. If the Magic ever aim for a star, though, Banchero and Wagner should be the only two players they flat-out refuse to discuss."

2. GREAT SEASON FOR MAGIC DESPITE MISSING PLAYOFFS

"I think we’re building something very, very strong and very special here and our mindset still doesn’t change even with us being out," Markelle Fultz said. "We’re still going into every game trying to improve and be the best team that we can be. We had a great season."

3. PAOLO HUNGRY FOR ROY

"Got a list of goals in my phone I made when - like a junior or senior in high school," Banchero said on the Knuckleheads Podcast. "Just wrote down everything I could think of that I wanted to do in my career. You know, Rookie of the Year was one of them in the NBA."

4. THURSDAY NIGHT'S GAMES

5. NEXT MAGIC GAME

The Magic will return to action tonight with a rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the final home game of the year. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. You can watch in-market on Bally Sports Florida or out-of-market on NBA League Pass.
