In this story:

1. PAOLO x LEBRON "When King James entered the league, he shot 29 percent from deep as a rookie, one percent lower than Paolo’s 30 in 2023. However, being surrounded by shooters helped alleviate the scoring burden as he developed his shot."

2. BLACK FUTURE? "Black is likely the team’s point guard of the future. Luckily for the team, they’ve got not only a serviceable one, but a solid one in Markelle Fultz right now," SI's Derek Parker writes. "It’s unlikely he'll will be a starter out the gate. And that’s just fine for a guard needing to hone skills like scoring in general, shooting overall and the intricacies of guarding multiple positions in the NBA."

3. ELITE FEEL "I love Black as a player because of his elite feel for the game, and he showcased why in a standout second-half performance in the Magic’s first game against Detroit that one NBA scout told me was his favorite of the first three days of summer league," The Athletic's Sam Vecenie writes.

4. BRONNY CARDIAC ARREST Bronny James, LeBron's son, suffered cardiac arrest while practicing at USC on Monday.

Lakers star LeBron James and his family confirmed the scare involving his son as he prepared for his first season with Trojans.

“(Monday) while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” the James family said via Shams Charania of The Athletic. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

5. BRONNY x GARY HARRIS? "As a prospect, he reminds me a lot of Gary Harris, and I think he’d be looking at a somewhat similar trajectory as a 3-and-D shooting guard."
