1. PAOLO FOR TEAM USA?

"Paolo is a player that I know extremely well," Hill said to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport". "I've followed his college basketball career and I was able to see his progress this season as a rookie multiple times since I live in Orlando. Paolo is an extraordinary talent and he's already a top player in the league. For sure, he's one of those players that we're following for the World Cup and also for the future of Team USA." 

2. WARRIORS GM BOB MYERS RESIGNS

The Golden State Warriors front office is undergoing some changes.

According to ESPN, Bob Myers is stepping down after 11 years as Warriors general manager and president.

Myers helped lead the Warriors to four NBA titles in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022. For his efforts, Myers was named NBA Executive of the Year in 2015 and 2017.

3. MAGIC PRESEASON SCHEDULE

The Orlando Magic revealed its entire preseason schedule Tuesday morning. This year, the Magic will play four games, two on the road and two at home.

The slate opens up on Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Big Easy against the New Orleans Pelicans. Then, the team travels on Thursday, Oct. 12 to face the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Orlando returns home the following week on Oct. 17 to host the Pelicans before playing the preseason finale on Friday, Oct. 20 against Flamengo, one of the top teams in the NBB, the top basketball league in Brazil.

The Magic has played Flamengo in the preseason before, hosting the club in 2014 and 2018 and traveling to Rio de Janeiro to in 2015.

This all leads up to the NBA season, which likely begins on Tuesday, Oct. 24. 

4. NBA FINALS SCHEDULE

Game 1 - Miami Heat at Denver Nuggets, Thursday, June 1, 8:30 p.m.

Game 2 - Miami Heat at Denver Nuggets, Sunday, June 4, 8:00 p.m.

Game 3 - Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat, Wednesday, June 7, 8:30 p.m.

Game 4 - Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat, Friday, June 9, 8:30 p.m.

Game 5 - Miami Heat at Denver Nuggets, Monday, June 12, 8:30 p.m.

Game 6 - Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat, Thursday, June 15, 8:30 p.m.

Game 7 - Miami Heat at Denver Nuggets, Sunday, June 18, 8:00 p.m.

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The Orlando Magic is 23 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where the team will welcome the newest members of the franchise.

Coverage begins on June 22 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
