"You can tell he's their franchise guy going forward," Young said on The Point Podcast. "He's a leader, so I'm looking to see what he does. Usually them really good players make that second-year jump, so I'm looking to see what he does."

2. MICHAEL MALONE ON MAGIC

“Hate to play against you guys," Malone told Banchero. "Everytime you play Orlando it’s a dogfight, everytime...”

3. KYRIE TO ROCKETS?

“According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Rockets plan to evaluate a potential run at Irving in free agency if they prove unable to land Harden, who is reportedly "torn" between joining them or staying with the 76ers."

4. NBA FINALS GAME 5

The Denver Nuggets can win their first NBA title in franchise history tonight with a win against the Miami Heat. Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets won Games 3 & 4 in Miami to take a commanding 3-1 series lead against Jimmy Butler and the Heat.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on ABC.

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The Orlando Magic is 10 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where the team will welcome the newest members of the franchise.

Coverage begins on June 22 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
