ORLANDO, Fl. - The Orlando Magic plays its first game of the new year tonight on the road against the Golden State Warriors.
It's the second game of a four-game trip for the Magic, which began Sunday night in a loss to the Phoenix Suns. Meanwhile, the Warriors look to snap a three-game losing streak, which has seen them fall to some top teams ... the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks.
In order to snap the skid, the Warriors will likely rely on their 3-point shooting, something the Magic struggles with. Golden State shoots at about league average with a 36.8 percent clip, but Orlando is dead last in the category at 33.2.
But the Magic holds one of the league's best defenses, and if it can contain the sharp shooting from Golden State and force turnovers, Orlando could pull out a road victory.
