Mavs Monday Donuts: What's Wrong With This Picture?

On the one hand, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are being heralded as "dangerous'' now and a "future championship contender'' not long from now. On the other hand ...
DONUT 1: WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? No disrespect to anybody a) in the photo-art or b) anybody behind the design of the photo-art or c) anybody who casts an MVP vote for any NBA star of their choice.

But ...
My dear, dear colleagues at Sports Illustrated, I ask you upon review:
What is wrong with this picture?
DONUT 2: FAMILY DANCE-OFF That would be Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, and I believe, Nashie's twin daughters.
If you’re having a bad day, watch this video 😂#MFFL | @swish41 @SteveNash pic.twitter.com/bBvVFS1Yk0

No, I don't exactly get it. But it's cute.
DONUT 3: MORE FAMILY Rick Carlisle quipped over the weekend that while "space'' is good for a relationship, this set-up, for guys pulled away from their families, is more like "outer space.''
Seth Curry is among the dads trying to cope.
“(My wife and daughter) went and stayed with some family, so they’re around a lot of family, so my daughter is doing well,” Curry said. “She’s having a lot of fun. She doesn’t really know what’s going on. For me, I just try to keep my face in front of her, I try to use FaceTime as much as possible.
“It’s a tough time right now being away from my family for so long. Obviously my wife (Callie) knows what we’re going through, but my daughter is so young she’s just happy to see me when I get on the phone.''
More with Seth - and his successful teaming with Carlisle - coming up later today ...
DONUT 4: QUOTABLE "The fish bite really quick here so even I can catch one." - Maxi Kleber.
DONUT 5: CANCELLED The more I learn about Dwyane Wade, the less I like him. And, given his track record, that is quite an accomplishment.
DONUT 6: THE FLOATER Carlisle has some nice things to say about a Justin Jackson offensive weapon, saying of his floater: "Maybe one of the best I've ever seen in 35 years in this league."
Jackson, by the way, has apparently dropped a little weight ... and no,I did not know he had much extra weight to spare.
DONUT 7: CUBAN'S REGRET Steve Nash's name, by the way, comes up when Mavs owner Mark Cuban is asked to list his NBA regrets. Read more here.
DONUT 8: 'DANGEROUS' DALLAS That's the word national-media people are using to describe the Mavs' chances of first-round success ... with a large "if'' tagged on. Check it out here.
DONUT 9: SUNDAY PRACTICE REPORT We visit with J.J. Barea, Rick Carlisle and Antonio Cleveland, plus dig into lots of video from the Bubble, all here. Oh, and "Dirk vs. Luka''! Fun stuff.
DONUT 10: HE'S BACK! Sources told DBcom that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (finally) battled through "logistics'' and is in the Bubble as of Sunday. That story is here ... and a Monday morning conference call with MKG is planned. Stay tuned!
DONUT 11: DALLAS' OTHER QB? Dallas has a basketball QB ...
A man of many talents 🏈 How’d he do, @dallascowboys? #MFFL pic.twitter.com/TCfqxlcoIt

And unlike the other one, there aren't really any exhausting arguments about him.
DONUT 12: THE FINAL WORD “It might be different here (in Orlando), but in the normal playoffs the environment is so electric. Every game is very important ... The whole world is watching.” - Seth Curry.
