The Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl did not disappoint. MVP Patrick Mahomes picked up his second Super Bowl championship, taking down a tough Eagles team that was led by Jalen Hurts. It was an exciting game that came down to the final drive. After the game ended, former Brooklyn Nets star and newest Phoenix Suns player Kevin Durant shared his thoughts on the big game:

Durant is a known NFL fan, supporting his home town Washington Commanders any chance he gets. Shouting out Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs for the Super Bowl winning performance, Durant also shared his appreciation for what was one of the greatest football seasons he has followed as a fan.

The Super Bowl is always exciting, but it is even more exciting when the game remains close throughout its entirety. That was exactly the case in this one, with each team trading punches from the first quarter until the final drive. Newest Suns star Kevin Durant certainly enjoyed, as did many across the world.

A deflating penalty sucked some of the excitement out of what was an incredibly fun game, but the Chiefs were able to execute their game plan to perfection down the stretch, and kicked what stood as the game winning field goal with just eight seconds remaining.

With football season over, fans now turn their attention back to the NBA where all eyes will be on Kevin Durant's new look Suns.
