Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was unhappy with a play Nikola Jokic had with rookie Brandin Podziemski in Thursday night's matchup, and had words for the Denver Nuggets star after the play:

Seemingly telling Jokic not to do what he did on that play, Kerr was not happy with how that went down. Getting the last laugh in this one, Jokic drilled the wild game-winning three at the buzzer to complete an 18-point comeback to defeat Kerr and the Warriors.

Kerr went viral after Jokic shot 18 free throws on Christmas, ripping the NBA for allowing players to bait officials into fouls the way they so often do. While Kerr said he does not blame the players, but rather the league for allowing this to happen, he did call the second half of that game "disgusting" which was mostly in reference to what Jokic was able to get away with.

While neither team would likely call this a rivalry, since there has been only one recent playoff series and it was without two of Denver's best players, there does seem to be some tension brewing in these matchups. For Golden State, they looked well on their way to a big victory, but a fourth quarter collapse was capped off by Jokic's incredible shot, and Denver stole the win.

Needless to say, the Warriors need to turn things around sooner rather than later.
