NBA Veteran Reveals Retaliation Against Nikola Jokic

In this story:
When Nikola Jokic injured Markieff Morris following a hard take foul, it sparked an online back and forth between the Morris twins and the Jokic brothers. The Jokic brothers felt LA Clippers forward Marcus Morris was threatening the Nuggets star with a Tweet he shared about the situation, and perhaps they were right.
During a recent episode of All The Smoke, the Morris twins were asked about that Jokic incident, and Marcus Morris reveals he was planning to retaliate against the Nuggets star. According to Morris, the referees were anticipating this, and wouldn't let him do anything to Jokic. Because of this, Morris admits he took a cheap shot on Jokic's teammate Austin Rivers:
“It was a sucker shot.”

"When we played them, [the refs] was like on me," Marcus Morris said. "Like they knew I was gonna do something to get to him. They was on me. Any little step I took they was watching me... So I said f-ck it. I can't get him, I'm gonna get one of your teammates... [I got] Austin Rivers. I just had to take him out."
Admitting to taking a cheap shot on Austin Rivers, Morris revealed this was his way of retaliating against Jokic since the officials wouldn't let him get to the Nuggets star. This beef may not be over, because Markieff Morris said during this episode that Jokic is going to get his.
