Warriors Star Reacts to Nikola Jokic's Viral Comments

When the Denver Nuggets won the NBA Finals, Nikola Jokic joked about not wanting to attend the championship parade. While Jokic was being playful with reporters, there was some truth to his comments, as he discussed how the NBA is a job.

"We succeeded in our jobs and we won the whole thing," Jokic said. "It's an amazing feeling. But like I said before, it's not everything in the world... There is bunch of things that I like to do. Probably that's a normal thing. Nobody likes his job, or maybe they do. They're lying. But it's a good feeling."

During a recent episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green joined the show and reacted to Jokic's comments about basketball being a job.

"I love playing basketball, love to compete, but he's not lying," Green said. "I hate it. I don't want to sound like someone who takes it for granted, but to Joker's point, it's work. And you have to show up to work every day and perform, despite what can be going on at work, what can be going on at home, what can be going on in the world. You have to show up and perform, and it's work. There's so much bullsh-t that comes with it, and the politics, but I wouldn't trade my job for the world."
