Zion Williamson's Status vs. Nuggets Revealed

The New Orleans Pelicans have released their injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Denver Nuggets, and star forward Zion Williamson is not listed, meaning he is available to play. Assuming Nikola Jokic plays, as he is listed as probable, this should be an exciting matchup between him and Williamson.

While Jokic and Williamson play very different styles of basketball, both are dominant around the basket. Williamson gets it done with explosiveness and athleticism while Jokic gets it done in a much different way, but both players are very effective and fun to watch.

The Pelicans are hoping to have a successful season with a healthy Williamson, as their last few years have been impacted by his lack of availability. The Nuggets are one of the teams New Orleans knows they will have to go through if they want to make a deep playoff run, so these games are always a good test to see where they are at as a group.

For the Nuggets, they are looking to continue building off what has been a successful start to the season. As previously mentioned, Jokic was added to the injury report for this game due to wrist inflammation, but since he is listed as probable it is reasonable to assume he will be good to go or this one.

The Nuggets and Pelicans will begin at 9:00 PM EST.
