Indiana Mad Ants 2023-24 G League schedule released

The Mad Ants are moving to Indianapolis for this season

The NBA G League released their schedule for the 2023-24 season today, meaning that the schedule for the Indiana Pacers G League affiliate squad, the Indiana Mad Ants, is out.

The Mad Ants are in the middle of a transition from Fort Wayne to Noblesville as their home city, so they will temporarily play all of their games in Indianapolis. Sharing an arena with the Pacers will help the G League squad.

They open up the season with 14 games as a part of the G League Showcase, which culminates with a tournament beginning on December 19. Once the Showcase is done, the Mad Ants will start their 34-game regular season schedule.

The first game on the schedule for Indiana's G League affiliate is on November 11, when they travel to Sioux Falls to take on the Skyforce. Their home opener is two days later against the Windy City Bulls.

All of the Mad Ants home games will be played in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They have hosted a few games there in recent seasons.

Per the team, every evening home game the Mad Ants play will tip off at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. On top of that, they will play six doubleheaders with the Pacers, with the Mad Ants playing in Gainbridge earlier in the day before the Pacers fill it late into the night. The first instance of that will happen on November 22. The G League game will begin at 12:30, and the NBA battle will come in the evening.

The Mad Ants regular season schedule starts on December 27 at home against the Memphis Hustle. It ends on March 27 in Wisconsin against the Herd. Last year, the team qualified for the G League playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Pacers two-way contract players Oscar Tshiebwe, Isaiah Wong, and Kendall Brown will spend time both in the NBA and the G League. Other Pacers players invited to training camp could end up with the Mad Ants this season.
