The Indiana Pacers are in Boston tonight to take on the Celtics for the fifth and final time of the 2023-24 season. So far, the teams are 2-2 in their head-to-head battles.

Boston is perhaps the best team in the NBA, but Indiana has shown that they can beat anyone at their peak. And perhaps they will be at that level on Tuesday night — the game is on National TV, and Tyrese Haliburton could be back for Indiana. It will be a significant night.

"I think there's still juice to it. I'm excited to be on TNT... More eyes on our team," Haliburton said of the game. "Exciting."

Pacers vs Celtics Injury Report

For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton is questionable with left hamstring strain injury management, but he is planning to play. Jalen Smith (back), Myles Turner (back), and Bennedict Mathurin (toe) are questionable. Oscar Tshiebwe, Kendall Brown, and Isaiah Wong are questionable as a part of their two-way contracts.

For the Celtics, they played on Monday night and have not yet released an injury report. They were without JD Davison, Luke Kornet, Drew Peterson, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jordan Walsh against the Pelicans.

Key Matchup

Pascal Siakam vs Jayson Tatum: Tatum, one of the best talents in the NBA, has scored at least 30 points in all three of his outings against Indiana this season. The Pacers haven't been able to slow him down.

Tonight, though, is the first time that the blue and gold will have Pascal Siakam against Boston. He can defend forwards at a level that nobody else on the Pacers roster can, so he will get some of the Tatum assignment tonight. If he can make his night more difficult, Indiana will have a chance to win.
