Indiana Pacers vs Chicago Bulls preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds March 27

The Pacers wrap up a road trip tonight

The Indiana Pacers finish up a five-game road trip tonight as they take on the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls beat the Pacers in an overtime thriller earlier this month, though the two teams have been headed in opposite directions since that game.

Chicago has dropped three-straight games. They are 4-6 across their last 10 outings, and the Pacers are close to clinching a better postseason seed than the Bulls. Indiana, meanwhile, is 6-4 in their last 10 games and earned a victory on Monday against the LA Clippers. They will soon secure a top-eight spot in the Eastern Conference ahead of the postseason. Both teams have seeding to play for down the stretch of the campaign.

Pacers vs Bulls Injury Report

The Pacers listed Bennedict Mathurin (torn labrum) as out. T.J. McConnell (sore left ankle) and Aaron Nesmith (right knee bruise) are questionable. Quenton Jackson, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Isaiah Wong are questionable due to their status on two-way contracts.

For the Bulls, Lonzo Ball, Henri Drell, Andrew Funk, Zach LaVine, Julian Phillips, Adama Sanogo, and Patrick Williams are out. Alex Caruso is questionable.

Key Matchup

Aaron Nesmith vs DeMar DeRozan: Nesmith may not play, but if he does, his role will be important. He will be tasked with slowing down DeRozan, who scored a season-high 46 points when the two teams last met. He couldn't miss, and he hit a buzzer-beating shot that sent the game into overtime.

If the star guard can be slowed, then the Pacers will have a great chance to win. On the other end, Nesmith is playing better recently and is an important three-point shooter for the blue and gold. Knocking down shots will be nearly as important as slowing DeRozan.
