Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds January 28

The Pacers host the Grizzlies tonight

The Indiana Pacers host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight for the final meeting of the season between the two teams. When they first played in Memphis back in December, Ja Morant was active and making his home debut for the Grizzlies. Both teams are much different now — Indiana has forward Pascal Siakam on the roster.

The Pacers struggled offensively that day, but they are still threatening on most nights. With the Grizzlies' injury issues, they are much less talented than they were back in December, but they are still capable of beating anybody on a given night. Indiana needs to stay focused on offense.

Pacers vs Grizzlies Injury Report

For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton is out with left hamstring strain injury management. Jalen Smith is questionable with lower back spasms. Oscar Tshiebwe, Kendall Brown, and Isaiah Wong are questionable as a part of their two-way contracts.

For the Grizzlies, Steven Adams, Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Luke Kennard, Jake LaRavia, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, and Marcus Smart are out.

Key Matchup

Myles Turner vs Jaren Jackson Jr: While several of Memphis' best players are sidelined with injuries, Jackson Jr has been playing often and playing well this season for the Grizzlies. He's averaging over 20 points per game and is a terrific defender — and he's an Indianapolis native, too.

Opposite Jackson Jr will be Turner, who is having a solid season and is playing well of late. He, too, is a capable offensive big man who can defend, and if he can match Jackson Jr's level, the Pacers will have a great chance to grab a victory.
