PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns won't have Grayson Allen available tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The news was first reported by The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin.

Allen played over 30 minutes on Monday night against the New Orleans Pelicans and was first considered questionable due to hip soreness.

Allen has started 69 games for the Suns leading into tonight - only Jusuf Nurkic (70) has started more games for Phoenix this season.

Allen's 46.9% conversion rate from three-point range currently is tops in the NBA. He also is shooting 87.8% from the free throw stripe.

Even in a star-studded lineup that utilizes Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. Allen still manages to average 13.4 points per night with 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists to pair.

The Suns hope to climb out of the play-in tournament territory with just eight regular season games left on their slate. Phoenix enters tonight's matchup against the Cavaliers as the West's No. 8 seed at 44-31. They've won their last five-of-seven.

Cleveland is on the second night of a back-to-back after defeating the Utah Jazz last night. They're third in the East with a 46-30 record.

Suns-Cavs will tip at 7:00 PM local time.
