Clippers Reveal James Harden's Status vs Suns

James Harden was a surprise add to the Suns-Clippers injury report.

PHOENIX -- The Los Angeles Clippers won't have the talents of James Harden tonight against the Phoenix Suns.

This comes following Harden's late addition to the injury report with foot inflammation.

"Harden has dealt with right foot soreness over the last week but hasn't missed a contest since a two-game absence in mid-March due to a shoulder injury, though he did sit out the entire fourth quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Cavaliers," said CBS.

"Over his past three appearances, Harden has averaged 18.3 points, 9.3 assists and 7.0 rebounds in 32.3 minutes per game. If he joins Kawhi Leonard (knee) on the sidelines, Paul George should be the Clippers' go-to offensive option, while Terance Mann, Norman Powell and Amir Coffey would be candidates for extra usage as well."

The Clippers - winners of their last eight-of-eleven entering tonight - have a four-game lead over the Suns with the No. 4 seed in their possession. Los Angeles hopes to cling on to a top-four postseason spot in order to establish home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Phoenix - who has lost their previous two meetings against Los Angeles this season - sit with the West's No. 6 seed entering the first night of a back-to-back against the Clippers. Tomorrow night the two will face each other in Los Angeles.

Suns-Clippers will tip just past 7:00 PM Arizona time.
