Who is Suns' Most Improved Player?

Some believe Grayson Allen takes home the honors for the Phoenix Suns.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have just two games remaining on their regular season slate, and thus it's nearly time for hypothetical awards and honors before the postseason gets rolling.

When it comes to topics such as most improved player, there's a variety of guys who fit the bill.

Bleacher Report believes in the desert, nobody has stepped their game up like Grayson Allen.

"Over the four seasons prior to this one, Grayson Allen was an almost run-of-the-mill floor spacer who averaged 10.4 points, 2.1 threes and 1.9 assists, while shooting 40.1 percent from deep. In 2023-24, he put up career highs in points per game (13.5), assists per game (3.1), threes per game (2.8) and three-point percentage (46.6)," wrote Andy Bailey.

"And that last number isn't just a personal high for Allen. It also leads the entire league this season. No longer just a strong catch-and-shoot threat, Allen is now among the most dangerous in the NBA on that front, while also showcasing a little more off-the-dribble ability than he's been able to at previous stops."

Allen's a top candidate, surely, though a few other names who could contend.

Had Bol Bol received consistent minutes all throughout the season, he'd surely be a top candidate for Phoenix's most improved player. Bol went from being a project in previous stops - to a meme at the team's media day - to a player that legitimately brought a little of everything to the table for Frank Vogel. Bol's clearly made strides during his short stint in the desert.

The same could be said for Jusuf Nurkic, who always put up numbers in Portland but is embracing (and thriving) in a different role surrounded by three All-Star players in the starting lineup. Nurkic has established himself as one of the best rebounders in the NBA while also flashing his ability to facilitate and pass every night.

However, the most improved title likely still resides with Allen, as he's developed into one of the league's best three-point shooters and more nights than not has saved the Suns when called upon.
