Suns Will Sign Isaiah Thomas for Remainder of Season

The Phoenix Suns are reportedly bringing on Isaiah Thomas for the remainder of the year.

PHOENIX -- After signing multiple ten-day deals with the Phoenix Suns, Isaiah Thomas is joining the team for the rest of their campaign according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

"Comeback complete: The Phoenix Suns plan to sign guard Isaiah Thomas for the remainder of the season, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. In his 12th NBA season, Thomas completed two 10-days – providing the Suns backcourt depth, strong leadership and vet presence in locker room," Charania reported on Twitter/X.

The Suns have been in search of a mix of veteran leadership ahead of the postseason with backup guard play behind the likes of Devin Booker/Bradley Beal. Thomas - after impressing twice in his two ten-day deals with Phoenix - is now along for the rest of the ride.

During his tenure, Thomas has appeared in just four games for Phoenix, playing no more than eight minutes in any matchup. Barring injury, Thomas will likely just be another voice on the bench as the Suns look to make a postseason push.

Phoenix has four games remaining on the regular season with current possession of the West's No. 6 spot. Their 46 wins has already eclipsed last year's total.
