PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have three total players listed on their initial injury report for Friday's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves:

PROBABLE - Grayson Allen (left hip soreness)

QUESTIONABLE - Jusuf Nurkic (left calf soreness)

OUT - Damion Lee (meniscus)

Suns coach Frank Vogel gave an encouraging update on Allen at today's shootaround after he missed Wednesday's victory vs Cleveland with left hip soreness.

"Feeling better, we'll list him as probable for tomorrow," Vogel told reporters. Allen has started the second most games for Phoenix this season.

If Allen isn't able to go, Royce O'Neale could again get the start. He filled in for Allen vs Cleveland and scored 17 points.

Nurkic played 32 minutes on Wednesday and scored just two points to pair with ten rebounds and six assists. His 71 starts just edges Allen and Kevin Durant at 69 games a piece.

Lee has missed the entire season with meniscus surgery that was had over training camp. His return date is still unknown.

The Suns are 45-31 with possession of the West's No. 6 seed as of Thursday night.

The Timberwolves are tied for the best record in the Western conference at 53-23. They're 8-2 in their last ten games approaching Friday.

Karl-Anthony Towns remains out for Minnesota after tearing his left meniscus. Mike Conley is set to return off a rest day Wednesday.
