Leading up to the trade deadline, there have been some massive moves around the NBA. As blockbuster deals continue to appear, one fan pointed out that the Detroit Pistons are oddly connected in multiple ways.

While the Pistons haven't help facilitate any big deals like some analysts suggested, Detroit is still apparent in all these moves. That being they were the last team to face off against multiple franchises before they made a major move.

The first dates back to early in the season against the Sacramento Kings. Following a loss to the Pistons, they decided to part ways with former Coach of the Year Mike Brown. Fast forward to their more recent stretch, and things get even crazier.

On Friday night, Cade Cunningham and company scored a 117-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Less than 24 hours later, they traded Luka Doncic to the LA Lakers in a move that left everyone shocked. Their next game was Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. Just a few hours after that victory, they traded Zach LaVine to the Kings a multi-team deal that netted the San Antonio Spurs De'Aaron Fox.

As for the Pistons themselves, they have yet to make any adjustments to the roster this season. Trajan Langdon did a stellar job in the offseason, as his moves have Detroit in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

With a chance at ending their postseason drought in reach, Langdon has a few more days to pursue upgrades to the roster. There are also some big-name players still on the market, opening the door for him to help broker things in exchange for future assets. Only time will tell how the longtime executive plans to operate in his first trade deadline in the Pistons front office.
