Spurs vs. Rockets GAMEDAY Preview: How To Watch, Injury Report, Betting Odds

The San Antonio Spurs host the Houston Rockets on Saturday night at the AT&T Center. With draft probability on the line, which rebuilding team flinches first?

On the heels of their two-game winning streak, the San Antonio Spurs face an opponent worst than them, the Houston Rockets. After playing its way out of a historic rough patch, San Antonio looks to win three consecutive games for the first time since early December of this season. It's rare for the Spurs to face a team on their level or worse.

At this point in the season, the Rockets seem to roll the ball onto the court and see where it lands. Currently enduring an 11-game losing streak, Houston posts a -17.9 net rating during that stretch. The franchise is in a fragile place, as Rockets head Stephen Silas constantly criticizes his players for lack of effort.

San Antonio won its last five matchups with Houston.

Even during the Spurs' historic losing streak, Gregg Popovich kept his cool, and the players fought for him by playing hard and keeping the right attitude. Now, two teams with vastly different states of mind collide.

San Antonio won its last five matchups with Houston. Although the Spurs' season is over regarding playoff hopes, maturing through adversity sees them in a healthier state than the Rockets. Will their resolve payoff on Saturday night?
