Spurs Re-Sign Dominick Barlow to Two-Way Contract

In this story:
The San Antonio Spurs are bringing back second-year forward Dominick Barlow for next season by signing him to another two-way deal, per reports Wednesday night from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Spurs had extended Barlow's $1.8 million qualifying offer on June 29, which made him a restricted free agent. He still suited up for the team during the Vegas Summer League, averaging 16.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in the process.
Barlow, 20, went undrafted last year after rising up draft boards during his time with Overtime Elite, but the Spurs added him to the 2022 Summer League roster. This ended up working out for the best, as he impressed the team enough to earn a two-way deal ahead of last season.
He went back and forth between the Austin Spurs and San Antonio, but showed he was a solid NBA player during limited action. In 28 appearances and 14.6 minutes per game, Barlow averaged 3.9 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 53.5 percent from the field.
He posted a pair of double-doubles, the second of which came during San Antonio's final game of this past season in a 138-117 win over the Dallas Mavericks. In that contest, Barlow finished with an impressive 21 points and 19 rebounds, both career-high marks.
Barlow is now set for more playing time next season after his new deal with the Spurs.
