Spurs Fiesta 5: Fred VanVleet Opts Out with Raptors

"Toronto Raptors guard and 2019 NBA champion Fred VanVleet has declined his $22.8 million player option, per reports from ESPN. This means he will now become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and will be able to sign with any team of his choosing. Toronto will not have the ability to match a potential contract offer for VanVleet from another squad."
"If the team doesn't re-sign Tre Jones or loses him to another team in restricted free agency, the Spurs could look for a different option. Among those players is Chicago Bulls guard Coby White."

Victor Wembanyama scored 19 points in Game 2 of the LNB Pro A Finals, a better showing than his Game 1 showing. However, Mets 92 fell to Monaco 95-88.
Mets 92 must win the next three games to stay alive.

Victor Wembanyama and Metropolitans 92 faces off against Monaco in Game 3 of the LNB Pro A Finals on Thursday. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT.

The San Antonio Spurs are nine days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where Victor Wembanyama will officially become the newest member of the franchise with the No. 1 overall pick.
