Spurs Fiesta 5: Victor Wembanyama Won't Finish Summer League

In this story:
1. WEMBY OUT FOR SUMMER Victor Wembanyama will no longer be playing at the Las Vegas Summer League, according to the team.
Wembanyama played in the team's first two games on Friday and Sunday, struggling in his debut, but responding with a 27-point performance in his second contest against the Portland Trail Blazers.
2. VIC WILL OVERCOME STRUGGLES "All in all, be ready to see a different version of Wembanyama come October than we saw these past couple of games in Las Vegas."
3. SO MUCH S*** "I had so much s*** going on with the draft and with the media," Wembanyama said. "Two days ago was my first game — it made sense...Before [Sunday], I had just two practices and one game, I was just getting going."
4. NO BS "The Spurs were also the least heralded, least respected, least marketed dynasty in NBA history ... and they wouldn't have had it any other way. They make no time for buffoonery and in the rare instance that they have drama they kill it on the spot."
5. SPURS NEXT GAME The Spurs return to action tonight against Bilal Coulibaly and the Washington Wizards. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on NBA TV.
