Phoenix Suns forward Mikal Bridges is a fan favorite for a reason. His abilities on the court mixed with personality away from the game have made him one of the best players to follow if you're in the Valley.

Since Phoenix has entered the race for Kevin Durant, plenty of trade speculation has followed the Suns, with Bridges included. Various reports early in the process suggested Bridges was not made available by the Suns, giving hope for fans that he would indeed stick around.

However, a recent update from The Athletic's Shams Charania spilled this info, which saw Bridges as the centerpiece of Phoenix's offers to Brooklyn:

"The Phoenix Suns similarly have dangled a package around All-Defensive wing Mikal Bridges and a handful of first-round draft picks, which has not picked up any steam with the Nets, league sources said," Charania mentioned.

"With Deandre Ayton signed to a four-year maximum contract and unable to be moved until January, Phoenix has attempted over the past month to make creative proposals to Brooklyn, possibly via three- or four-team trades where an All-Star-caliber player goes to the Nets. But the Suns have yet to find a suitable deal — and that is largely why they appear to be behind Boston, Toronto and Miami in the Durant sweepstakes."

If the feeling is true, Bridges won't be leaving Phoenix any time soon since the Nets won't consider their offer.

However, that hasn't stopped many people (Bridges included) from having some fun with the recent developments:

The last tweet may indicate the Suns (or his agent) haven't made Bridges aware of any potential movement. Or it may just be Bridges having fun with everybody, which can't be counted out due to his personality.
