Suns-Lakers Best Bets: Spread, Props and Over/Under

In this story:
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns look to establish a 2-0 record to begin the regular season, though they'll battle the Los Angeles Lakers without star guards Devin Booker or Bradley Beal.
Regardless, big names such as Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Anthony Davis will hit the hardwood tonight.
Here's some of the best bets for tonight's action:
Action Network: Suns-Lakers Under 226
Andrew O'Connor-Watts: "We were on this at under 224 before the news that both Bradley Beal and Devin Booker were out for the Suns. Since then, the number has risen to 226, perhaps under the assumption that the Suns will just launch 3s all night. Either way, we'll take the extra points on the under.
"With both Beal and Booker out, the ball handling duties will likely fall to Eric Gordon and Jordan Goodwin. When Booker's availability was first called into question, the total fell from 229 to 224. That was certainly the right direction for the total to fall, but did it fall far enough? Goodwin is above-average defensively, but below average on offense, while Gordon is a bit below average on both ends at this stage of his career. And now, with Booker and Beal both out, we've bounced back to 226."
Pickswise SGP: Austin Reaves 4+ assists & Lakers ML
Ahaan Rungta: "If they are to get the job done, they need a strong performance from their offense, which is often facilitated by starting guard Austin Reaves, one of the few members of the Lakers’ rotation whose minutes are safe barring foul trouble. As a starter alongside James last year, Reaves averaged 3.8 assists per 33 minutes and this season he will have a more definitive role with more scorers surrounding him.
"That showed in the season opener when he posted 4 dimes on 8 potential assists against the staunch Nuggets defense in just 31 minutes. We don’t even need better efficiency from Reaves’ teammates in this one to repeat a 4-assist performance but we could get it against the Suns, who allowed Chris Paul to record 9 assists on 24 potential in their season opener."
ESPN: Lakers -5.5
Andre Snellings: "With both Booker and Beal expected to sit, the Lakers should have too much strength at both ends for the Suns. If both sit, the Suns' starting lineup projects to Jordan Goodwin, Grayson Allen, Josh Okogie, Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic. The Lakers already have the advantage in the paint, with Anthony Davis and LeBron James too physically strong and explosive for a Nurkic-led frontline to slow at the rim. The BPI game predictor also seems to agree with the magnitude of the spread, giving the Lakers a higher chance to win this game (64.7%) than it does the Bucks to defeat the 76ers (63.9%)."
Gambling.com: D'Angelo Russell Under 13.5 Points
Bryce Derouin: "We like D'Angelo Russell Under 13.5 Points (-110) at BetMGM. From Tuesday and going back to the postseason last year, Russell hasn't scored more than 11 points in his last five games and has shot just 14-42 from the field in that stretch.
"There was a moment in Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets where LeBron James was imploring for Russell to pass him the ball, only for Russell to take an ill-advised contested 3. The play highlighted Russell's struggles and how he doesn't seem to be in-sync with the rest of the roster. It also showcased that he's essentially forcing up bad shots, and if he's going to continue that trend and bad shooting, we're going to target his under."
