The Phoenix Suns hope to level the series in a vital Game 2 meeting against the Denver Nuggets, and they'll need their starts to show up and show out before a long stretch of time between now and Friday's Game 3 back in Phoenix.
The duo of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker combined for 56 points in Game 1, but that wasn't enough to stop a hot Jamal Murray (34 points) and typically dynamic Nikola Jokic (24 points and 19 rebounds).
Game 2 figures to be a bit more interesting, especially for those interested in putting some cold hard cash up for some action.
Here's three of the best prop bets we could find for tonight:
FanDuel: Jamal Murray Over 3.5 Made Threes
"Murray is shooting 45.2% from three-point range in that span and owns a strong 41.9% career three-point percentage in the NBA Playoffs. Phoenix's perimeter defense is no joke, but Murray is built for the big stage. The fact that this prop bet is listed at plus odds makes it too good to pass up.
"Bet: Jamal Murray - Over 3.5 Made Threes (+132)"
Action Network: Devin Booker Over 5.5 Assists
"He has at least 25 points in 11 of those 13 games, but the most notable change has been his uptick in assists. His prop line is set at 5.5 assists and he’s exceeded that in nine of the 13 games with Durant, including three games with 10 assists.
"There is some juice on his prop at (-125) and I would not be surprised to see this jump to 6.5 by the end of this series. For reference, he’s exceeded that mark in seven of the 13 games. I’m on his assists in Game 1 and I’ll sprinkle 10+ at (+850)."
DraftKings: Nikola Jokic Over 13.5 Rebounds
"For all of Jokic’s offensive talents, his ability to secure rebounds remains underrated. The big man has hit double-digit boards in five of his six playoff games in 2023, going over this particular line three times. He grabbed 19 rebounds in the opener against the Suns, and Phoenix doesn’t seem like it has any interest in competing with Jokic in that area of the game. Look for Jokic to pull down at least 14 rebounds tonight."
