Suns' Devin Booker Gets Honest on Playing With Kevin Durant

Phoenix Suns guards Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are a match made for each other.

PHOENIX -- When the Phoenix Suns acquired Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets last year, plenty of people within the Valley were happy to see the Slim Reaper touch down in the desert.

It'd be hard to find somebody happier than Devin Booker.

Booker's made it very clear he wanted to forge a super team in Phoenix for years now, and after some time the Suns were able to land the talents of Durant and Bradley Beal.

Time will tell if Phoenix can deliver a championship with the star trio, but the relationship on and off the court between Booker/Durant has been special to see develop since the two became teammates.

Booker recently appeared on "The Old Man & The Three" podcast with JJ Redick and was asked what it was like to play with Durant - who is notorious for his crazed work ethic:

“You’re just dealing with a guy that really loves his craft. For me to be a really big fan first - I had a tweet from 2011 where I said Kevin Durant's my favorite player but LeBron's the best. I found it when I got drafted, everybody started re-tweeting it," Booker said.

"But just always being a fan and then hearing those type of stories about how obsessive he is with his work, how he gets after it and how much of a hoops junkie he is. For all of those stories to be living up [to the hype] and him surpassing those, you really find out that he only cares about hoops it's like - it’s a match for me.”
