Suns Forward Kevin Durant Will be Featured in Call of Duty

In this story:
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant can put plenty of things on his resume.
No. 2 overall pick in the NBA draft. League MVP. Multiple NBA Finals championships and other accolades that could fill an entire trophy cabinet follow who many to be one of the greatest scorers of all time.
Now, Durant can add another title: Call of Duty character. The popular video game series tweeted earlier this morning Durant would be available in a "special, limited-time store bundle to be released during Season 03 reloaded."
Nearly eight million people play the popular online game each month, so Durant's popularity is sure to take an extra step in the gaming community (not that he needs it).
Athletes have frequently been integrated in Call of Duty updates, as most recently World Cup soccer players such as Neymar and Leo Messi were available for players to use in online modes.
Durant - who has previously displayed an enjoyment of video games in the past- currently has his hands full with teammates, as the Suns are down 2-0 against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Phoenix will look to avoid a second consecutive exit in the round after falling to the Dallas Mavericks last season.
Time will tell if Durant and teammates such as Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton can make good on their talent on the court. Yet for millions of virtual soldiers in Call of Duty, the time to use Durant in action is quickly approaching in the next update.
