Suns Cam Johnson, Cameron Payne to Miss Rest of Preseason

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns won their first preseason game of the new year in 119-115 fashion over the Los Angeles Lakers, but not everybody emerged unscathed.
Already down Josh Okogie due to a hamstring injury suffered in camp, the Suns saw both Cam Johnson and Cameron Payne exit early due to hand injuries. Johnson's was a thumb sprain, while Payne's was a regular finger sprain.
Johnson saw just four minutes of action before being removed. He went 0-1 shooting but grabbed one board.
Payne only played one minute of game time, amassing a rebound before leaving.
12 News' Cameron Cox believes he pinpointed where the injuries occurred in the game.

A few days went by following the game, and no developments emerged from Phoenix on the injury status of either player.
On Friday, Phoenix confirmed both players would be reevaluated in a week.
They'll miss the final preseason games against the Denver Nuggets next Monday before finishing against the Sacramento Kings next Wednesday.
