Kevin Durant Doesn't Care About Your Parlays

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant isn't a fan of being messaged after losing a parlay.

PHOENIX -- In today's world of sports betting and social media, fans feel closer to the action than ever before.

There's a multitude of reasons to be interested in any given game thanks to the various wagers fans can place on certain things while social media allows us to be closer to athletes than ever before.

When the two mix, it can sometimes get ugly. Just ask Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant.

The Suns superstar has never been shy on Twitter/X/whatever the cool kids call it, though he's apparently had enough of people messaging him after he failed to hit certain bets for people.

"When I get ya paid, u don’t DM me and send a small percentage to my cashapp but when them parlays don’t hit, I’m every name in the book. Yall ain’t real."

If people have been disappointed in Durant's performance, that's a tall order for the future Hall of Fame forward to fill. Durant has been on fire this month by averaging 33.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.3 blocks per night.

He's scored 30+ in three consecutive games for Phoenix.

Without Bradley Beal, the Suns will continue to rely on Durant and Devin Booker to steady the ship until Phoenix's big three can finally unite.

The Suns host the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors for back-to-back home contests on Tuesday/Wednesday.
