Things got ugly for the Phoenix Suns in their Game 4 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, as the team dropped their second consecutive game and will now travel back to Phoenix with the series tied at 2-2.

Chris Paul particularly had a rough outing, playing in just 23 minutes and fouling out for just the fourth time in his playoff career. He had four fouls before halftime, the first instance ever for Paul in either the regular season or playoffs.

However, Paul's Sunday went from bad to worse when his family members were allegedly attacked during the game, according to ESPN's David McMenamin

"Paul's mother, Robin, as well as his wife, Jada, and their two children watched the game in seats close behind the Suns' bench at American Airlines Center, sources told ESPN. His mother had hands put on her and his wife was pushed, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN, and Paul's kids were there to witness it. Paul's wife was also followed up the aisle when she left her seat, a separate source said."

Shortly after, Paul took to Twitter to say the following:

The Mavericks were quick to put out a statement saying, "The Dallas Mavericks are aware of an incident between a fan and the family of Chris Paul. It was unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. The Mavericks, along with American Airlines Center, swiftly removed the fan from today’s game."

Here's video of the aftermath which shows the fan being escorted out:

At this time, no prominent information has surfaced indicating details of the altercation.
