Warriors PG Chris Paul Ejected vs Suns

In this story:
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns played a tribute video for Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul before tonight's game, who made his return to the Valley for the first time since being traded over the summer.
Paul was met with a loud cheer from his former home crowd, though he lasted not even a full two quarters before being ejected.
With 23.2 seconds left in the first half, Paul was assessed two back-to-back technical fouls by referee Scott Foster (who has a history with the future Hall of Fame floor general).
Warriors coach Steve Kerr was then assessed a technical, too.

Paul left the action with just six points on 1-2 shooting alongside two rebounds and six assists in 17 minutes. He was one of five starters for Golden State while Draymond Green continues to serve his own suspension.
Foster didn't like some choice words from Paul.

Players getting ejected here in Phoenix during a Suns-Warriors game isn't a new trend. Last season, fans remember when Klay Thompson was ejected after exchanging some verbal blows with guard Devin Booker.
Paul and the Warriors previously played Phoenix once already, hosting the Suns for what was an opening-season loss for CP3 and his new teammates.
Paul was initially dealt to the Washington Wizards as part of the Bradley Beal trade before being sent to Golden State in exchange for Jordan Poole.
The Suns lead the Warriors 63-47 at halftime. Phoenix rode a four-game winning streak heading into tonight while Golden State's recent win snapped a six-game losing streak.
