Two of the best teams in the Western Conference are set to play each other when the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns battle for the first of four meetings as Pacific division rivals.
Last season, the two sides split their season series 2-2.
It's another promising matchup, as Steph Curry and Devin Booker are some of the league's top scorers at this moment. Both are averaging 32 points or more, making them just two of eight players in the NBA to currently do so.
Chris Paul has received some hate for his poor start this season, but the Suns point guard ranks in the league's top five for assists (10.7) and steals (2.7) per game.
Deandre Ayton has made a clear effort to be more aggressive, and that has paid off thus far. Ayton averages a 19/8/2 stat line although he needs to avoid foul trouble with nearly five whistles per night.
