The Phoenix Suns (19-14) will be heading into Denver to take on the Nuggets (20-11) in the final game on the NBA Christmas slate.

The Suns are coming off back-to-back losses, most recently an embarrassing loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Nuggets are currently tied with the Grizzlies for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Suns sit two games back from the top seed, and a win tonight will significantly aid their push for the playoffs.

Nikola Jokic has been on a tear over his last 10 games, averaging 28.9 PPG, 12.9 REB, and 9.8 APG. Despite this impressive stretch individually, the Nuggets are 6-4 over these 10 games. However, they are 6-1 in their last seven. The Nuggets are 3.5-point favorites entering the game, with Devin Booker still listed as questionable.

The Suns have had a different success story over their last 10 games, going just 3-7. Booker’s health has been a huge factor in the Suns’ recent games. Individually, Booker has a 6-4 record over his last 10 games. Over this stretch, he has averaged 29.7 PPG, 5.7 APG, and 4.6 REB, including two 50-point performances. If the Suns head into Colorado without Booker, the likelihood of a Phoenix win will severely decline.
