In this story:

The Phoenix Suns did it.

Suns fans were tortured for so long on the prospect of potentially getting Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant.

The team swung and missed on Kyrie Irving before his trade to the Dallas Mavericks. Yet in the final hours leading up to today's trade deadline, new owner Mat Ishbia pulled off what felt impossible given he was just introduced officially on Wednesday.

Phoenix waves goodbye to Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and four first-round picks in the future with a pick swap for 2028 that sees Durant and TJ Warren back in the Valley.

Of course, NBA twitter went ballistic in what is undoubtedly the largest trade in Suns franchise history. Durant is now paired with Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton moving forward, a scary sight for teams in the West.

Bridges found out the good ol' fashion way.

So did Johnson, via his brother.

The haul has already divided some Suns fans in if the package was too much. For others, it wasn't enough.

Just don't use them in 2K.

Who would have thought Warren would be back in this capacity?

On the other side of things...

But who needs draft picks anyways??

Shoutout to Ja for the motivation, though.
