Potential Suns Target Kevin Love Reportedly Signing With Heat

The Phoenix Suns were unable to land the talents of Kevin Love after he and the Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a buyout. Love is set to join the Miami Heat according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Love (8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per night) was considered to be one of the more valuable assets in the buyout market, as teams such as Phoenix and Philadelphia among others.
Yet it was the Heat who ultimately landed Love, a veteran big man capable of knocking down shots and spreading the floor.
The Suns recently added some serious talent after trading for Kevin Durant, TJ Warren, Darius Bazley and adding Terrence Ross after his buyout with the Orlando Magic.
Phoenix may have had an open spot after Ish Wainright's two-way deal with the team expired this past week. Now, the Suns may be inclined to bring him back with the possibility of Love now out of the picture.
The Suns are currently 32-28 with the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference after winning their last seven of ten games.
There's hope they'll be able to welcome back Durant from his MCL sprain next Friday when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder in a nationally televised contest.
