Reports: Kevin Durant to Remain With Brooklyn Nets

In this story:
After months of speculation, it appears as if Kevin Durant will remain with the Brooklyn Nets.
Durant initially put a trade request in on June 30, with nearly the entire league calling the Nets to gauge their interest in actually dealing the future Hall of Fame scorer.
After setting the bar extremely high in terms of trade compensation (multiple All-Star players on top of a wealth of draft picks), teams were unsuccessful.
Just weeks after meeting with Brooklyn owner Joe Tsai and demanding the release of head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks, The Athletic's Shams Charania was the first to report all parties held a meeting on Monday with a successful end to the drama:
Kevin Durant to Stay With Brooklyn Nets
Steve Nash, Joe Tsai and Sean Marks met with Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman in Los Angeles on Monday and have decided to move forward with partnership, Nets say.

The Brooklyn Nets themselves even put out their own statement.

After an offseason full of drama and speculation (the Phoenix Suns heavily included in that), it appears as if one of the best players in league history will remain off the market.
