Injury Report, Updated Odds (3/24): Oklahoma City Thunder at Milwaukee Bucks

Looking to retain the No. 1 seed in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder hits the road to take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Oklahoma City Thunder travels north to take on the Milwaukee Bucks as they’ve got an opportunity to hit the 50-win mark while retaining the top seed in the Western Conference. With a win, they’d reach that win total for the first time since the 2015-16 season – the campaign they lost in the Western Conference Finals.

The Bucks are solely in the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, standing 11.5 games behind the top seed and two games ahead of the No. 3 seed.

Both teams, in terms of seeding, could benefit with a big win in this matchup. This is the first of two contests between the two teams this season.

Injury Report

Thunder:

  • Ousmane Dieng, OUT (G League)
  • Olivier Sarr, OUT (G League)
  • Adam Flagler, OUT (G League)
  • Keyontae Johnson, OUT (G League)

Bucks:

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo, Probable (Hamstring)
  • Khris Middleton, Probable (Ankle)
  • AJ Green, Questionable (Illness)

One would assume both Middleton and Antetokounmpo will play, meaning the two teams will be at full strength heading into this matchup. Both squads will likely finish as a top-three seed in their respective conferences with the potential to make deep playoff runs. Needless to say, having both teams healthy could create for an incredible matchup.

Updated Odds:

Heading to the Fiserv Forum on the road, the Thunder is a 2.5-point underdog. They’re playing the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference on the road, so it’s not a big shock they’re playing this game as the non-favorite.

Still, the Thunder is riding a four-game winning streak while averaging north of 120 points per game in that stretch. They’re going to hit the road and play a tough game, but coming away with a fifth-straight victory could be a challenge. The Bucks have been a solid road team, and the Thunder has a 23-13 road record. It’ll be interesting to watch this one play out.
