On Sunday afternoon, the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Denver Nuggets in one of its biggest games of the season. The Western Conference bout was not only between the No. 1 and 2 teams in the conference, but also had implications on a fiery MVP race between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.

Oklahoma City eventually came away with the win, largely behind its own MVP candidate's 40-point game. The final score was 127-103.

Here was how Twitter, now X, reacted to the game:

Oklahoma City will play Denver again for the fourth and final time in the second half of a back-to-back Monday, March 10. The two teams will tip off at 7 p.m. CT.
