With the NBA season approaching, NBA TV is running a special programming series dedicating one whole day of game replays to a specific team.

On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder are slated to have their "Team Day", with a handful of games from last season and even a few historic matchups set to air throughout the day and well into the evening.

First, NBA TV will show OKC's contest against the Wizards from Nov. 16, 2022.

Early in the season, many around the league were unsure of where the Thunder stood, especially coming off of a 24-win campaign in 2021-22. Heading into their game against Kristaps Porzingis and the Wizards, the team was a middling 6-8.

During the contest, however, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took control, recording 42 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Oklahoma City's star guard also knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left, lifting the Thunder past Washington despite 27 points, nine rebounds and four assists from Porzingis.

Gilgeous-Alexander's remarkable performance showed fans around the NBA that the All-NBA guard had improved on what was already a solid 2021-22 outing.

The next matchup that NBA TV will feature on Sunday took place around a month later, when Gilgeous-Alexander knocked down another game winning shot to take down the Portland Trail Blazers 123-121.

This game was significant because the Thunder were beginning to slide down the standings, and needed a win to get back on track. Not only did OKC pull of a thrilling victory, the team knocked off a team who was, at the time, 17-14 on the season.

In the contest, Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 35 points, six assists, two rebounds, two blocks and one steal, outdeuling superstar guard Damian Lillard, who notched 28 points, six assists, three rebounds and one steal.

Following the two aforementioned contests, NBA TV will feature the March 19, 2023, matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Thunder followed by OKC's meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers from March 21, 2023.

After rounding out its game replays of the 2022-23 Thunder season, NBA TV will move to historic Oklahoma City contests, starting with Game 5 of the 2012 Western Conference Finals.

Game 6 of the 2012 Western Conference Finals, Game 1 of the 2012 NBA Finals and OKC's victory over the Golden State Warriors in early 2014 will finish off NBA TV's programming for the Thunder's edition of "Team Day", giving fans a fun slate of games to look back on and reminisce about.
