Social Media Reacts to OKC Thunder Crushing Lakers

In this story:
In the Thunder and Lakers’ second meeting in three days, this time it was Oklahoma City that would come out on top, fueled by a 42-point performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The game wasn’t without its fair share of moments, with high-arcing threes, fast break jams, a myriad of blocks, scuffles and the eventual ejection of superstar Luka Doncic due to two technical fouls The Lakers came out on the better end of Sunday’s contest, getting out to an early lead and never looking back in coasting to a 27-point win.
With OKC having locked up the No. 1 seed in the West already, the Lakers needed Tuesday’s game much more amid a Western Conference battle.
Here's how Twitter, now known as X, reacted to the game:

Austin Reaves actually the Lakers best player lol

The score in this Thunder/Lakers game is 62-52 and it’s not even halfway through the second quarter. Elite defense on display for the last hour, perimeter + at rim. Shot-making/star power has just been that good. One of those games that reminds you how talented these dudes are.

OKCs lead swells back to double-digits. Thunder have done a great job in the second frame of growing a lead and keeping Lakers at an arms distance for now.

This game is showing off the many little ways Alex Caruso changes the equation for the Thunder.

Completely flipped this game for OKC in this 2nd quarter.
The Lakers have outscored the Thunder 24-10 in the 3rd Q so far.

Throwing Luka out here is absolute officiating malpractice.

He was barking at a fan after a made basket.
Just truly outrageous.
That fan in OKC who just got Luka ejected deserves at least a 5th place MVP vote. Got the ref to think Luka’s venom was directed at him. 10/10 bait.

The OKC Thunder break the NBA record for most double-digit wins in a season.
It stood for 53 years, until the Thunder just surpassed the 1972 Lakers for the most all time. Pretty cool to watch. pic.twitter.com/6s1QFHN7d3
