Thunder Gameday: Closing Out Homestand Against Warriors

In a Western Conference matchup that will feature two teams pursuing a postseason appearance, the Golden State Warriors will be in Oklahoma City tonight. The Thunder have won two-straight games following five consecutive losses, so this will be a great test.

Golden State has won six of its last ten games, but really struggles on the road. When away from Chase Center this season, the Warriors have gone just 7-24. On the flip side, the Thunder are 19-15 at home.

Who will come out on top in this one?

ODDS:

The Thunder enter the day as 4-point underdogs to the Warriors, and the total over/under is 241.5 points.

KEYS TO THE GAME:

Steph Curry is back in the lineup after missing time with an injury. Still one of the best players in the NBA, Golden State is always a tough beat when he’s on the floor.

Per usual, this game against the Warriors will be won or lost on the perimeter. They take the most 3-pointers in the entire NBA and are also top five in efficiency.

The Warriors have won both matchups against the Thunder this season, which most recently included a 27-point blowout just over a month ago. This was a game in which Golden State was ultra efficient from beyond the arc, converting on 26 of 50 attempts.

Once again, it will likely come down to Thunder’s perimeter defense in this game to determine the outcome.
